Bella Turns 2!

Let love and faithfulness never leave you; – Proverbs 3:3

Today we celebrate Belle’s happiness as she just turned 2. It’s an honor to witness her parent’s joy as they watch her grow in beauty.

I can’t help but remember one night, I was conversing with Bella’s dad Ian. They were expecting for a child then. Surely, in God’s perfect time they shall receive their heart’s desires.

After few months, I heard the good news! Time flies indeed, their baby is now 2 years old.

My prayer for her that she grow in love each day.

…and the winner is…

Our company launched new HR software, and announced a contest to encourage us to fill in as much information as possible. There will be an iPad winner for each division. Currently we have 5 divisions worldwide.

Guess what.. i bagged the iPad representing Middle East & India. Praise God!

I even allowed to write a two-paragraph essay on how I recommend our new software with my colleagues. Well, writing helps 😄

This award somehow encouraged me to write on my blogs 😄

Thank you for sharing with my happiness.

Turning 36

Today i turned 36. It’s just a number, what made this day significant is that lot of people expressed their heart’s contents which are genuinely tear-jerky. Your greetings melt my heart.

Being away from my family amplified the longingness. My wife asked me about my wish. Well, just like every family man would wish, I wish I’ll be home. But it’s not that easy. Nonetheless, I found comfort in appreciating thoughtful people who greeted me. You have no idea how happy I am right now.

Family

To my wife who always stood by my side in every season – I love you. Thank you for understanding me in my time of weakness and stubbornness. May the Lord grant you you heart’s desires. Salamat sa pagtyatyaga. I love you always. For my son, thank you sa greet! Pakabait palagi!

To my parents, thanks for all your hardships and dedication raising me up. Ivhope I made you proud one way or another.

For my siblings, thank you for the greetings. I wish I can spend more time with you all.

Church

To Church on the Rock family, thank you for your faithfulness year in and year out. Together, we grow in faith.

To Jesus Christ the Living God, thank you for welcoming me back with arms wide open. Special thanks to Pastor Francis for the prayer.

Colleagues

Aside from church, Fugro is my next home here in Qatar. Thank you for the friendship and support.

TFIOB (The Fault In Our Blogs) community

THANK YOU ALL GUYS FOR SHARING WITH MY HAPPINESS!

*capslock para intensed 😀

Gian Turns 1!

It’s an honor to be selected as one of the godparents of Gian, being a closed friend of my colleague Anna. He is offered to our Lord thru baptism on 21st of December, and party is set the next day with Hawaian theme.

I threw a party for my son once, thus I knew the feeling. The excitement of the event and the anxiety of “what if’s” surely hover in their mind as time pass by. Before we knew it, big day is here so let’s get the party started!

Reward for Grumbling

Lately, I posted about something good that’s going to happen, well here it is!

Talkin’ about motivation to work.

I’m struggling with injustice in our office, and WP is my outlet to rant 🙂 I even decided to quit my job (drafted resignation letter twice, felt so good in doing so, and regretfully archiving these).

And so I ask God to have His way. I asked for a sign.

Instead, He made my extra hours of stay in the office count. It may be a simple gesture to compensate my hard works, but for me it is God’s hands reaching out.

To God be all the glory, forever.

Here Come Better Days

I can feel it. Not just a make-believe feeling. God, in His righteousness, will shower His goodness and His love – all the days of my life (i feel like singin’).

Of all challenges I’d been through, got into, and will encounter, these are incomparable to all the riches and glory God is in store for me.

Malapit na akong yumaman, pera na lang kulang 🙂 #credit_to_FBmemes

Thank You Lord for developing my character, for the realization that I’m well-loved, and the fact that i’m not the only one on this boat hehe..

To You God be all the the glory, forever.

Celebrating my 34th Birthday

With my colleagues

Thanks for all the well-wishes.

So I’ve got an ice cream cake courtesy of my boss, a sweet gesture that assures me I’m not screwing up yet 🙂

Had lunch out in FRIDAY’s with (one of) my boss and colleagues – two years in a row! 🙂 am really grateful.

For me, sweet thoughts are the best!

Lovely, isn’t it? Contents are way lovelier!

Thank you guys! God bless and may your tribes increase!

With my family

Thank you, anak! And special credits to my loving wife

Palabok with palitaw..yum!

Evidently, nag-eenjoy ang bata 🙂

Sweet smile! He sang “happy birthday to you” with his mom on videochat, touching his father’s heart.
