Open Avenue

Word of the day:

“He had a dream in which he saw a stairway resting on the earth, with its top reaching to heaven, and the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.” – Genesis 28:12 NIV

It’s man’s desire to reach God, to worship Him, and to be with Him. The Tower of Babel is a classic example of men’s effort to reach God. Their action may not be right, but their determinations and unity into one goal is unquestionable.

To get closer to God, we have to accept that we’re sinners, as we are. No superficial presentations, no other requirements. We have to accept that He is our Saviour and Lord. We have to allow Him to move in our lives. We have to surrender our will.

Let’s open our hearts to Jesus. That’s God’s way to reach us. The Holy Spirit cannot dwell in a closed heart. Allow our hearts to be sanctified day by day.

It’s all about tuning in to His will. Just like an old saying that to “whatever well we are drinking will confirm our nourishment.” Let’s tap to the Source, our God. Let His ways cleanse us from our sins and iniquities.

Let our hearts be an open avenue of worship – where we receive God’s love and instructions. Just like a worship song that we are singing:

“…in this place, dreams are made. In this place where You are..”

As we bow down with reverence before our God, let’s allow God to deal with every issue within us. Unless we arrived in unity with Him, we can never let our lives be an open avenue of worship. Let no one hinder us from communicating with the Father.

The key to survive in this dying generation is to live for the glory of God. God bless you.
