Word of the day:
“Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” – Psalm 139:23-24 NIV
Conflicts in relationships are premeditated. It doesn’t happen overnight. Perhaps, along the course of a relationship, a scar was made, and no effort was done to heal the wounds, and as time pass by, the scar grew deeper and deeper. It just needs time, and when the time comes that he cannot contain the pains and hatred, then he will explode into anger. Conflicts are being exposed. It’s saddening that the other party caught by surprise because most of the time, he’s not even aware that the wound’s there. He even not knew his brother/sister have grudge against him!
Let’s fear God. Let’s allow Him to search in the very depths of our hearts. Let’s understand one another, love one another. Let’s rebuke gently (with all authority as situation implies, yet, be gently), accept corrections equally, and love abundantly.
“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” Proverbs 4:23
May it be our burning desire to allow God to reign in our hearts. Let’s offer our hearts in the Lord. Let’s guard our hearts. Let every thoughts that dwell should be worthy of His praise. God refines our hearts thru renewing of our minds. Know the Father’s heart. Let’s allow God to move in us. He will guide us in the way everlasting, that’s a promise. We shall not be afraid, because when He say “everlasting,” He mean it.
The key to survive in this dying generation is to live for the glory of God. God bless you.
