He Who Began a Good Work in You

Word of the day:

“being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 1:6 NIV

God, who knew us before we were born, loves us so dearly that He never left us. He is in constant watch over us. He knew our joys and pains, tears and laughter. He even grieve every time we got lost in this world. As we turn back to His presence, we are getting back to the track we are supposed to be in – aiming for the goal He set before us.

God promised us to be with us ‘til the end – assurance that comforts us whenever we feel all alone and forsaken. When we feel that the world is unfair most of the time, we can run to His presence. If we’re right, He grieves with us, and if we’re wrong, He corrects us. We are leaning to the standard of holiness and righteousness that conforms higher above ways of men. Unless we learn to live that way, we are in constant struggle with Him and His ways.

As we walk in righteousness, God will begin to mold our hearts, shaping to fit for His Word. We are being trained in every ways. As we endure every fight and as we grow in maturity, God promised us that He will finish the work He began in us. We have to trust Him. We have to be patient, teachable, obedient, faithful, confident, and consistently walk in the light. Let no spirit of compromise be with us. Let’s continue to live this fasted life. Our reward is the crown of righteousness, our reward is Jesus Christ, to be with Him in eternity.

Isn’t it fair to give our very best to our Maker?
