God Placed Before You an Open Door!

Word of the day:

“To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: These are the words of Him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What He opens no one can shut, and what He shuts no one can open. I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept My word and have not denied My name. – Revelation 3:7-8 NIV

Do you believe in a positive thinking? If you do, then you better believe in godly thinking. Sometimes it’s not enough that we are tuned in into positive thinking. Somehow between the lines, there are situations that call us to pause for a while, to forward quickly, and in some cases, to quit. A positive thinker is the one who always see something good for every situation. That’s an excellent attitude, and I admire positive thinker.

But there’s a big difference between positive thinking and godly thinking. In godly thinking, a person weighs a situation according to the word of God. He follows various rules and he knew what grieves a Holy Spirit and what makes Him so excited and glad. In other words, he knew how to touch a Father’s heart. That’s an ingredient that a positive thinker don’t possessed.

Godly people seek God’s approval. They pray, fast, worship, and giving praises to the Almighty. And as they found favor in His sight, God will open up closed doors, and He opened these with a promise: NO ONE can shut. God will open up doors of blessings, prosperity and growth of His people. What more? He will close door of sins, sickness, and death. Let no spirit of destruction be upon His people. God clearly stated that!

And what are the requirements? “…you have kept My word and have not denied My name.” Let’s keep God’s word and stand for His name by walking in the beauty of His holiness.

The key to survive in this dying generation is to live for the glory of God. God bless you.

Additional Insight:

Sometimes, we want to speed up things to fit our timetable. We ended up unlocking wrong doors! Sometimes, we are tempted to break down the doors. We are impatient to see what is in store for us. Remember that our god has His own timetable. He knew when to open closed doors for us.

Please be reminded that there’s a reason why He’s not opening doors that you want to be opened. He knew your heart. Perhaps, on the other side are temptations that you’re not strong enough to resist. Or maybe your heart isn’t ready yet to receive the blessings He’s in stored for you.

Wait. Be patient. Let your heart grow into obedience. When the right time comes, all you have to do is walk through an open door. Our God is a God of timing – never too soon, yet never too late.

Claim

Many people asked me lot of questions…anything under the sun..Sometimes, I’d managed to answer, sometimes, not. What i am confidently claim is the fact that I tried to answer..I’d made an effort to answer…I am not DUMB! I am not NAIVE!

As i come in a realization that some people search for an answer, i sat down for a moment and started analyzing… in a way, this was termed as philosophyzing…which i firmly opposed.. truly, there’s a lot of answers in a single question, and can you imagine how many questions you have in mind? how about those lingering question at the back of your mind???

The fact that people approach me and talk with me, in a way, consulting me, i’d got confidence that my life is truly an influence…and i will NOT take a risk to be an instrument for one’s destruction. So i find a perfect place to be in.

I’d first thought that i have to be neither bad nor good. bad persons shall be hated and good persons shall be eradicated…(lolzzz!!!).. But that concept was long ago.

I believe that i have to take my place.God is truly a merciful God. why??coz He let me be changed to let other people be changed also..Am i boasting myself?definitely NOT!Let God only be honored. well, i am really honored having people know that there is ONLY one God to be served. JESUS. I’m really excited sharing how HE changed me. if you are wondering that i am just a stupid organism proclaiming God’s Awesome Presence, let me be stupid…for Christ’s Sake…You know, people, i’d been a philosopher for the first few years of my critical mind. AND I’D FOUND OUT THAT THESE PHILOSOPHIES MAKE ME DUMB… it’s not that i blame philosophers for thinking philosophically.I’d just found out that the FEAR of God is the BEGINNING of wisdom..

When someone approach you seeking advice, are you confident enough not to lead him astray?

Be blessed, to be a blessing!

GOD BLESS YOU GUYS!

Individual/Congregational Testimony

God is so faithful. Words are not enough to express our gratitude to Him. he’d been faithful to us.

Truly, we might reserved spectacular events in our lives that we’d proven His faithfulness to us. These events inspired us to walk with , and with a desire within us to inspire otehrs, as well.

But God desires to be more than just an inspiration. He wants to walk with you through thick and thin. He wants to lead you. Our God is a God of compassion. He wants the best for you. Yes, we make mistakes, buth taht didn’t stop there. Qw must realize that the more we accept/admit our vulnerability, the more we tent to be relaxed… But our life was not designed by God to live under the pressure of vulnerability. We must not conform to the norms of a society. Yes, as human, we are vulnerable. But we must view our vulnerability in line with what the scripture is saying. Please remember that His strenght are being made perfect through our weaknesses. that’s why we need God to lead us because it’s life that we are talking about here. It’s not a matter of business launching wherein we introduce an action then we wait what will happen next. Life is not a trial-and-error. We must not risk our life by taking an initiative out of our own. We have to let God to lead us.. we have to trust God.

Looking around, i’d observed lives of people around me.. Some gave their lives to their passion like musicians, some in their expertise, like doctors; some in their decidation, say teachers and journalists. but of course, not all have crowns in their heads. some lived their lives, allegedly, with misery. Bu’t i’m not in a position ot judge their lives…But one thing i am sure of:it’s not your status quo that will preserve you and your lineage.. it’s how you live before God..because in the grave, everyone is equal. God will judge everyone hon how he spent his life on earth.

Life can be all that you want it to be today. Just live according to the purpose of God. And we are so blessed that church of God was introduced to us. God desires a Body that was prepared for Him. God don’t want a lone ranger.. it’s wisdom to to live with the church. Why? because Church is simply the Body of Christ… and being a part of a Body, we must take care of it. we must be united as a family before God.

I accepted Jesus as my personal Savior & Lord on Nov. 11, 2000 and was baptized with water on Feb. 19, 2001. Since then, i witnessed how God move mightily in my life. i saw how He ‘clean’ the church; how He pxrunes, how He strike, how He bless, how He prosper, how He changed our lives from glory to glory. At the end of the day, one thing i am convinced of: He had never left us nor forsaken us… ever. So love the church. this love will preserve you.

God desires covenant with His church. And if we confess that our church is His church, then we have to allow Him to reign over us… that’s not a request, but a command with authority from our God.

Now, it;s nice to hear how God move in each other’s life, isn’t it? How much more to hear how He move in our church…hmm..not so popular — but let me give you some points:

  • the setup in our church, we consider that [our church] as spiritual family. Our head pastors are our spiritual parents –and we coined the term“fathering” our to that. There, we watch each other’s lives not as faultfinders but as brother’s keepers.
  • Each member is a representative of a church. That’s why we are so carful in the outside world. People knew as as born-again. They expect much from us. That expectation sometimes makes me smile because in one way or another, they are convinced that we have ’something’ specialand that ’something’ is Jesus. So we are extra careful. We have to preserve o ur lives as we as the testimony of our church.
  • How about sanctification?whooh… By God’s grace and mercy, we stayed in the camp. As we face each other’s battle, one thing i am sure of: stay connected in the house and God will make all things fall in their places. Just allow God to heal the borken hearted and eventually, you will see the beauty of God in His church like never before.

Now, wanna hear another testimony of God’s love towards us? Look not only on a person himself; but to the chruch where he belongs, as well.. God is in the business of uniting His church in this end time..

Guys, if you haven’t know/accepted Jesus Christ in your life, find church where you can grow. As the bible say, test every spirit. Ask God and He wil llead you to the family where you really belong.

Now, to our brothers/sisters who have church, please love your church. There is no specific group or clan or denomination who can love you with God’s love than your church can do. Love your church because God first loved you.

Calling all Christians in the whole world… Let’s prove that we serve and ever-living God! There is joy in serving Jesus! —exceeding joy, actually..

a life well-spent

How great is our God,

Sing with me, how great is our God,

And all will see how great, how great is our God

Let no one hinder us from running the race set before us. We’d been called to His fullness. That’s our purpose. We must not sway away from that truth. We got to have that passion burning in our hearts. We got to be ‘solid’ in our commitment before the Lord. People failed to realize that a lot of opportunities therein to run the purposes of Kingdom of God. The bottom line is, we got to be so natural in serving God. We must not be conformed with the norms of society (circumstantial influence). When you say you’re living for Jesus, simply live for Him. There should not be sugarcoat for it.

Our life is designed that way. Again, simply live for Jesus. You and me were made to worship Him. It’s never easy to live for Him, especially when there are too much to give up, too many hearts to desert. Sometimes you have to close your eyes and run blindly, deaf from calls/voices behind you, these voices which persuade you to stop and reconsider.

Live your life worthy of His praise. Jesus is worthy. Set your life before Him. There is no greater joy than serving Jesus. A well-spent life is a life fully committed before God.

Jesus Is Our Stronghold

Find rest, o my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from Him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor depend on God; He is my mighty rock, my refuge. Trust in Him at all times, o people; pour out your hearts to Him, for God is our refuge [NIV]~ Psalm 62:5-8
Jesus is our stronghold. All my life, even when I was not yet a Born_Again Christian, He’d been my guide. Our Lord
is always by my side. When I am running out of strength, when I am fighting against circumstances, Jesus always guide me. And walking in the light opens my heart to a new understanding of the faithfulness of the Lord our God. The more I live my life pleasing to His sight, the more His glory, power, and love being demonstrated.
Sometimes, circumstances ought to draw us away from His presence. Some temptations, negative feelings tend to push us away from God. Sometimes a lot of pressures from the outside strike you – but hey, we have a super-strong God! He is the great “I AM” who made the heaven and the earth. Giant fears are really small when all you see is God.
God is our refuge. He is our strong tower. So pour out your heart to Him. Jesus desires to be with you. He loves to see you rise up for your destiny. Let Him guide you. Find your peace in Him. Delight in Him. God is our refuge. He is our strong tower. So pour out your heart to Him. Jesus desires to be with you. He loves to see you rise up for your destiny. Let Him guide you. Find your peace in Him. Delight in Him.
“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.”[NIV]~Psa. 46:1-3

What Born Again Christians Claim…

Imagine life without Jesus… i just can’t.

He is our all in all.. He created you and me, therefore, who are we to deprive God of His honor? People resort on science as an alternative to God, well, guys, ask them to pray to electric current, could they?? moreover, no gas in this world (be it methane allegedly, or carbon monoxide, i don’t care… “, ) can prove responsible to creation…So to whom could we turn to? the Name is Jesus…He is responsible for your destiny. Your faith is safe in Him..

It’s a nature in a man to be doubtful. oh,yeah,psychologists, it’s rational, sorry…

People justify their doubtful thoughts into rationalism; into weighing evidence; into search-for-the-better-truth attitude. Why, because men, in their so-called rational thinking, tried in vain (and keep on trying) to justify things away from God’s principles. Please remember that if we are not of God, therefore, we’re against Him. There’s no gray area..

Spiritual things are spiritually discerned. Try to weigh in [ir]rational thinking spiritual things such as the creation, and you will end up with a lots (and i mean, LOTS) of theories of evolution. Then we put ourselves in unnecessary troubles. Haven’t the theories of evolution introduced, we should still be grateful that the Lord our God created the heavens and the earth! Instead, we’re spending lots of our quality time searching for answers of our own-formulated questions established by science. Why don’t we use our quality time searching the scriptures? besides, in science, a certain claim is considered truth  if, and only if, it stands the test of time. How old the scripture is? you guess, it’s older than all of us living in this generation. Yet, the science keep on denying it. So my message to scientists who keep on opposing divine facts: “Keep your words sweet and tender guys, for you gonna eat ‘em tomorrow!” (“,)

Please remember that our God don’t want to share His glory to anyone! The Creation is His art. Let no one in the face of the earth steal it away from Him! i can’t imagine the wrath of God being deprived of honor in the name of science.. i just can’t imagine…

So the next time you wake up, don’t crawl for your laptop for info. or switch on your microwave oven for the breakfast. Please find time to crawl in the side of your bed, whisper a little prayer, express your gratitude for our God who made you and me and all that existing in this world, for He deserves all our praises..Now you’re ready to conquers the world, in Jesus Name!

Please remember, science deals primarily with your existence, but our God, the Lord Jesus Christ deals with your destiny. You are designed to live, not just to exist…

To God be the glory!

Hey guys, i am not opposed to science, what i hate the most is settling down with an argument of winning science above God..

you have to settle for something less.
Playing safe din sila…un para bang okey lang ang stature mo now but if you want something better, go for it.Nevertheless, okey lang yun..

Totoo yan… tandaan nio to,

Basta, anuman ang kinakaharap natin ngayon, Jesus is more concerned of unleashing His power in your life, and in return, express your gratitude to Him by living a prayerful life, desiring to advance His kingdom here on earth, as it is in heaven.. God bless you guys!

I’d Learned…

I’VE LEARNED

  1. …that when you’re in love it shows.
  2. …that just one person saying to me, “You’ve made my day!” makes my day.
  3. …that having a child fall asleep in your arms is one of the most peaceful feelings in the world.
  4. …that being kind is more important than being right.
  5. …that you should never say no to a gift from a child.
  6. …that I can always pray for someone when I don’t have the strength to help him in some other way.
  7. …that no matter how serious your life requires you to be, everyone needs a friend to act goofy with.
  8. …that sometimes all a person needs is a hand to hold and a heart to understand.
  9. …that simple walks with my father around the block on summer nights when I a child did wonders for me as an adult.
  10. …that life is like a roll of toilet paper. the closer it gets to the end, the faster it goes.
  11. …that we should be glad God doesn’t give us everything we ask for.
  12. …that money doesn’t buy class.
  13. …that it’s those small daily happenings that make life so spectacular.
  14. …that under everyone’s hard shell is someone who wants to be appreciated and loved.
  15. …that the Lord didn’t do it all in one day. What makes me think I can?
  16. …that to ignore the facts does not change the facts.
  17. …that when you plan to get even with someone, you are only letting that person continue to hurt you.
  18. …that love, not time, heals all wounds.
  19. …that the easiest way for me to grow as a person is to surround myself with people smarter than I am.
  20. …that everyone you meet deserves to be greeted with a smile.
  21. …that there’s nothing sweeter than sleeping with your babies and feeling their breath on your cheeks.
  22. …that no one is perfect until you fall in love with Him.
  23. …that life is tough, but I am tougher.
  24. …that opportunities are never lost; someone will take the ones you miss.
  25. …that when you harbor bitterness, happiness will dock elsewhere.
  26. …that I wish I could have told my Mom that I love her one more time before she passed away.
  27. …that one should keep his words both soft and tender, because tomorrow he may have to eat them.
  28. …that a smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks.
  29. …that I can’t choose how I feel, but I can choose what I do about it.
  30. …that when your newly born grandchild holds your little finger in his little fist, that you’re hooked for life.
  31. …that everyone wants to live on top of the mountain, but all the happiness and growth occurs while you’re climbing it.
  32. …that it is best to give advice in only two circumstances: when it is requested and when it is a life-threatening situation.
  33. …that the less time I have to work with, the more things I get done.

at the Bema Seat…

Everyday, we face a rat race with each unique blend of matrix that we either accept or deny. it is the reality that marks our part in a history of mankind. a lot of people used to run against it and few manage to flow with it. we are equipped with each concepts and principles we set as standard to cope with; some trust in faith, some in fate. nothing new happens under the sun. we see the rise and fall of kingdoms… we witness victory upon victory, defeat upon defeat. each victory brings glory and fame to a nation, wherein each defeat brings strife and slavery. History dictates that we are doomed to suffer from mistakes of our forefathers. moreover, we sometimes fails to learn from their mistakes, we tend to commit the same mistakes again, hoping that we will be spared this time…seldom were…in the end, it is neither the rise nor the fall that counts…it’s how we live on earth..if we’d been victorious, had we boast it upon ourselves? or brings glory on His throne? if we’d been defeated, do we simply surrendered? or did we fight until the end? when everything is silent, everything is still, when it’s between you and Jesus, may we find courage to stand before Him and feel His embrace as He welcomes us in His Throne…

Wrong Thinking Patterns Birth Wrong Behavioral Patterns

in ancient times, people use balms as ointments to relieve them from sickness and pain. This ointmet is so valuable that merchants from different places travel towards a town called Gilead – hence, a balm of Giled was labeled.

Balm means “lord of oils,” perhaps because of its healing factor. If rightly applied, it hasten the healing process of common illness.

We are chosen instruments of God. We ought to rise to our full potential, to the stature God  called us to be. We have a Great Commissioning, which is to share the Good News of Salvation – through words and deeds..

Purity matters. When we are so pure before the Lord, then we can assure that people who seeks for counsel will be relieved. When our vessel is so empty before the Lord and we allow Him to pour out His ways, then we will be a “genuine” chosen instrument of His glory. A lot of people starts so true and passionate before God, and was burnt-out. Why? because they ceased to grow. Along the way, there are some thinking patterns God is dealing with their lives, and they weren’t as effective as before because those thinking patterns block the continuous flow of the holy ghost. Then, eventually, they try hard to convince themselves with assurance that God is still there. Yes, God is still there in some areas of our lives. But that’s not what God desires. He wants to be in ALL areas of our lives. Yes, it will buy some time to overcome..and it’s in God’s perfect timing, not too soon, not too late.

We are the balm of Gilead in this world. We have to be so pure and free from contamination of this world for us to be an effective balm. How can we heal sick people if we ourselves are sick? There’s a big difference about being weak and being sick. His strength are being made perfect through our weaknesses, not through our sickness. As we always declare that we see the mark of defeat in enemy’s forehead, so it’s time to claim God’s victory over ourselves.

God is moving, so we are. If there are some areas we can’t  entrust in God’s hands, then we are “stuck-up,” unable to move. That’s the time we have to yield to God and seek His grace. We have to pray and fast if necessary. It will gonna be alright. We have a great God. The question is: are we willing? in some cases, even we are more than willing, it’s a matter of readiness of the heart.  when you are in God’s hand, fear not. everything that is not of Him shall be taken away from you. Til it is only Him be the all in all of you..

God bless you guys!

Soliloquy

You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. You are His chosen instrument to advance His kingdom here on earth as it is in heaven. You are fearfully and wonderfully made. God designs you remarkably that you can stand out on the crowd and praise His name. Righteousness and holiness of God is in you. You are the great and valor warrior of the Lord. Stand out! Tighten your grip! God is moving, and so we are! A lot of people around you might either encourage you to move on or persuade you to back track. It’s up to you to listen. Don’t forget to pray for wisdom and seek God’s counsel. The Lord will direct your path and you are safe in His arms. Under the shadows of His wings, you will find your rest. He is our Healer, Provider, Comforter, Friend, name it. You are born to worship the Great God of our fathers, the Mighty One of ages. People from generations to generations hail to the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Rise up! Run the race! Keep the fight of faith! At the end of the day, it’s neither all about you nor all about me, not even all about us, because it’s all about Jesus.

Soldier

We are all into battles in every single day of our lives. We are fighting a somewhat struggle that sometimes brings us down, and sometimes lifts us up in victory. We are soldiers in our own rights. Circumstances vary, but the name of the game is still the same. We are fighting a battle won long time ago on the cross. I guess every passionate Christian would agree on me on that, but how come a lot of loopholes still remains? How come there are some areas in our lives that we are bound to be on chain? How come we are living in a cage of fear? The answer won’t be easy, my dear.

We are trained to handle a case-to-case situation (and worse, life-and-death situation). And guess what, we are equipped by the Word of God as an absolute standard. Well, it seems as we stay on that scope, we could defeat the enemy the moment we meet him face to face. But how come we don’t? How come we go back to the Throne as a loser? Because the enemy is not outside. The battle is within us.

As mentioned earlier, we are equipped by God’s Word as our standard. It’s a matter of stand here. Say if we are on the U.S. Navy, we stand for the U.S. of A.;We stand for the home of the brave; we stand for America, whether we are within the camp or on the battlefield.

Ever heard a story about how a soldier is trained? Or had you ever watched those movies that portrays man’s struggles on becoming a solder? Not to exaggerate the fact, but every soldier will tell you that it’s not that easy to be one. It will take determination, strength, bravery, and of course courage to be there. You might as well think that I’m playing an analogy with the spiritual warrior as we supposed to be, right? Of course.. But don’t stop there. We all heard of this argument many times. And let me once again remind you that all truths are parallel. And we could learn a lot from every truth we grasp.

Our warfare is against the principalities and concepts of the world that oppose the Word of God. We are against every imagination that exalts itself against the knowledge of the Son of God. That’s our battleneck. Soldier must learn how to control himself, it’s called discipline. We are to be disciplined enough so that our resources (time, talent, treasure) will be applied effectively and not be wasted. We must admit that in this area, a lot of Christians fail. We have to learn how to train our gifts to our full potential. In every training, obedience matters. And within the Lord’s camp, explicit obedience must be observed. Ever been court-martialed? Oh, yeah, in layman’s term, D.A. (disciplinary action). D.A. is a pastor’s strike with love among his sons. We are being disciplined to hear and obey on one voice because in the frontline, there’s only one voice – the captain of the army. In the church, we listen to our pastors, who are our spiritual parents before the Lord. We have to entrust them with our lives because we believe that they are God’s chosen instruments. Well, I guess there’s no problem with that unless you got something personal to that man of God. One query might arise: how can I trust him as God’s chosen instrument? He might as well lead us astray, because he is still a human.. Please be reminded that we live by faith and not by sight. If that man of God lead us astray, he is accountable for his own life and your life as well as his member. Let’s go back to a scripture. If a man lives uprightly before the Lord, what do you fear of? Holiness is the only trait that devil cannot imitate; and God wants us to be a Holy temple before Him. Moreover, spiritual things are spiritually discerned. You have to trust the guy.

Tackling about obedience, we have to realize that during the training, an aspirant soldier is dealing with himself. He’s dealing with his pride, boredom, emotions, strength, endurance, name it. When the commander says run! He runs, no matter what. And take note, in training, delayed obedience is disobedience. Try to be late on mess hall, you will clean up the mess. There, he masters his own fears and limitations, to stand the fierce of the battle ahead. We as Christians ought to live that way. Be patient as God trains you by dealing with major and minor details of you life, so that when you come face to face with the enemy, you will no longer deal with your own fears and limitations, but rather, you strike the enemy with all confidence. Don’t deal with your own fears and limitations in the battlefield, please! You will surely be killed by the stray sphere of the enemy. Prepare yourself in such a way that you can see the marks of defeat and fear in the eyes of the enemy.

Let’s go practical. Typical Christians meet their pastors 3-5 hours on Sunday, right? Then we are settled keeping in touch with each other thru phone or the Internet. That’s why it’s a privilege as a member of the Body of Christ to attend midweek services (bible study, outreaches, crusades, leadership training..) that is being held by your pastors. Trust me, you will surely apply every wisdom you grasp in the near future. Guys, your pastors are concerned on your life. Pay attention to their commands; obey them as they were entrusted by God to minister upon you; listen to them. At the end of the day, they just want to lead you closer to Him; don’t doubt their integrity; have fellowship with them – remember you have 6 days to live on the outside world before coming to church again on Sunday.

Learn in such a way that you will be equipped to fight against the enemy and be His chosen instrument to advance His kingdom on earth, as it is in heaven. Fight in such a way that you will win. Victory is ours. Let’s execute His vengeance! Let’s be united as One Body, serving the King of kings and the Lord of lords. After all, it’s all about Jesus.

God bless you more!
